I also like the color-from-photo shaded edges, a neat thing not commonly found. Yes, I agree with #6 above, the bucket of transitions are not of my liking, but fade and page turn are fine.

Yes, Photostory 3 with the addin mods was great, as was Shockwave. My comments are based on experience with HD 2 & 3įour years ago, when I was doing low cost wedding for the young on a squeeze budget, I downloaded slide show trials of all I could find.

The 2015 sounds like an abbreviated version of HD 3 even so it is probably all most need. Personally I'd encourage you to go for the Real McCoy, if you are interested in trying to create a satisfactory Slideshow and you're willing to pay a bargain price.

To my surprise there it was, an offer I couldn't refuse: A 100 Eurocents off of the already heavily discounted offer! Who can blame me for taking my chances?

Then I became curious, so I fished the deleted Ashampoo "Your Software Deals" icon/link out of my PC's Recycle Bin. I declined, and completed the installation.

While installing the present "2015" version, there popped up the offer to upgrade to HD3 - for a price that in Euros it ‘reads’ 10% lower than the $ sign. Although I knew that I wouldn't have enough time to test it, my mind kept flirting with the idea of trying out the "real" Ashampoo. I downloaded and installed today's version (after reading MikeR's comments). Ashampoo develops plenty of solid software but, despite being a German company, they're fond of creating confusion - not only in their marketing approach: It seems that Ashampoo does employ a large number of web site builders nearly in each new visit of mine I discover a new side-path! Anyway, let us proceed now to the all-positive: I can understand that for the latter's Team it isn't always easy to bring here interesting software, day after day.īut I'm very much obliged to MikeR for his effort to explain some of the various slideshow programmes' (and their versions) mechanisms and complications. Save | Cancelįirst of all I would like to thank Ashampoo and GOTD for today's offer. IMO, Ashampoo Slideshow Studio is not so versatile as ffDiaporama. I have also used (to a lesser extent) earlier versions of Ashampoo Slideshow Studio, but always produced more ambitious slideshows with ffDiaporama. I've been a very happy user of ffDiaporama since its earlier versions throughout.Īnd much, much more.
